“Perceive with Caution” An Exhibition of Merging Concepts at the Kennedy Museum of Art at 9 a.m., hosted by the Kennedy Museum of Art, 100 Ridges Circle. Visit the Kennedy Museum to see the “Perceive With Caution” art exhibit developed, curated, designed and installed by students. To schedule a time to view the exhibit, complete the Kennedy Museum Visitor Approval Google Form.

For the love of Athens Photo competition Gallery Exhibition at 8:00 am, hosted by ARTS / West and the Athens Community Center, 701 E. State St. See “For the Love of Athens,” a photo contest and exhibition celebrating the people and places of County of ‘Athens. The show has been showing for the past several months on ARTS / West, and now it is being hosted at the Athens Community Center for an encore screening. Athens Farmer’s Market at 9 a.m., hosted by Athens Farmer’s Market, 1002 E. State St. Shop for locally grown and produced food and produce at the Farmer’s Market. The market accepts SNAP, credit cards and the healthy wave. Masks are recommended and social distancing protocols are in place.

Landscape painting at 1 p.m., hosted by the Hocking Makers Network, 3301 Hocking Parkway, Nelsonville. Create an plein air, a painting of an exterior landscape during the workshop. The course is led by Whitney Goller and open to all levels. Registration is hosted online via the Hocking Makers network website.

Sunday 23 May

PARTIAL BODY: Master’s Thesis in Fine Arts by Lalana Fedorschak at 1 p.m., hosted by Majestic Galleries, 20 Public Square, Nelsonville. See the exhibition PARTIAL BODY by Lalana Fedorschak, candidate for the MFA of the School of Art and Design, at the Majestic Galleries. The speech from Fedorschak’s virtual gallery can be viewed at Instagram.

Spring Fling Parade in place at 1 p.m., hosted by Passion Works Studio, 30 Utah Place. Join Passion Works Studio to enjoy an outdoor art installation on the lawn of the Zenner House. The artwork includes puppets, decorations, bubbles, and birds, all of which can be viewed via the drive-thru. The event is a fundraiser to support Passion Works Studio.
