BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Myers Landscape Supply was chosen as the first recipient of the Mayor’s Business Spotlight program.

What started as a small lawn mowing business with no more than a truck and a two person trailer and operating out of a garage, Myers Landscape Supply quickly grew into a thriving full-service large yard maintenance store.

Since its inception, they have experienced significant business growth in terms of physical expansion, increased income and workforce. After serving Palm Bay and surrounding areas for over ten years, they currently employ 25 people and continue to grow.

The sprawling two acre facility located at 2685 Kirby Circle NE offers a wide assortment of landscaping materials (mulch, rock, stone, etc.), small lawn care equipment and grounds maintenance equipment. The establishment has an exhibition hall with mowers and other small miscellaneous outdoor equipment.

To adapt to the changing needs of its customers, the owners have incorporated environmentally friendly wireless outdoor electrical equipment into their product line as an alternative to traditional gas-powered equipment to promote sustainability and reduce environmental pollution. environment. Myers offers free in-store and in-home demonstrations of their wireless outdoor equipment.

In October 2021, Palm Bay Mayor Rob Medina launched the Mayor’s Business Spotlight, a program designed to recognize local Palm Bay businesses, foster community pride and showcase the city’s diverse economy.

Eligible businesses are awarded on a quarterly basis after a review of applications by the review committee, which consists of Mayor Medina, a staff member from the Community and Economic Development Department and a staff member from the City Communications Division.

Eligibility requirements include a business transaction located within the city limits of Palm Bay and a valid tax receipt.

Companies can be nominated on criteria such as longevity, revenue and / or employee growth, innovation, community involvement and recognition. Anyone can submit a nomination.
